           Bass Mitchell
  
  
Our pastor is The Reverend Bass Mitchell. He was appointed to Epiphany in July 2007.
   He is married to Debbie, a graduate student at Virginia Tech's Washington-Alexandria
   Architecture Center. They have two young adult children, Michael and Meredith, and a
   daughter-in-law, Loren.

   Bass received a Bachelor's Degree in Religion, History, and Psychology from Barton College.
   He also studied at Mount Olive College and Florida State University. He received a Master of
   Divinity with Religious Education  from Southeaster Seminary in Wake Forest and also studied
   at Duke University Divinity School.

   He has had four books published, three by Cokesbury/Abingdon Press and one by CSS
   Publishing. He has had numerous other articles and curriculum materials published by various
   publishers including the United Methodist Publishing House.

   Bass has had extensive training and experience in spiritual formation and pastoral counseling,
   as well as helping churches rediscover their vision and call.

  

  
       Beverly Sapp
 
  
Ms. Sapp is a resident of Washington D. C. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Music
   Education from the University of South Florida, Tampa, FL.  A long time educator and performer
   in the D. C. metropolitan area, Ms. Sapp has sung on stage with Opera Theater of Northern
   Virginia, as well as participating in many recitals and concerts.
 
   For the past eight years, Ms. Sapp has been the Minister of Music at Epiphany United Methodist
   Church.

     Kathleen Bingham

   
Kathleen Bingham is the Church Secretary. She and her husband Steve have three children,
    Lucy (age 9), Hope (age 8) and Andy (age 5).  Having grown up in Arlington, she has lived in
    Vienna for the last 15 years.

    She attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.  Prior to having children,
    Kathleen worked for non profit associations as a financial officer.

    Kathleen is active in her community, leading a Brownie Girl Scout troop, as well as working
    as a volunteer for her children’s school and other community groups.  She considers herself
    lucky to have so many members of her family near by.
